Many times, bowlers have been compared (unfairly, in my opinion) to golfers because of their lack of fashion sense. While I can understand how a few persons may not like polyester bowling shirts, I don't feel they are nearly as bad as some of the outrageous outfits we have seen on the golf course. At least bowlers do not wear plaid pants that look like they were picked out by a color-blind grandmother! Well, since I'm a bowler myself, I admit to being a bit biased here - especially since I've been in charge of buying my team's bowling shirts for the past four years. I always seek to get something different each year, and I ensure that I purchase classic designs that will look nice both on and off the lanes. Plus, I've been trying to order my bowling shirts from various online vendors so I can get a better idea of which websites offer the best quality products at the lowest costs. I've actually found some great apparel websites in the past few years, and have ordered some really outstanding merchandise as a result. In reviewing my purchase history, I found out that these Internet sites have several common denominators. First of all, they present an extensive variety of bowling shirts in many different styles and colors, including the retro designs that are so popular right now. Second, the websites present a wide choice of customization options for logos and names. A bowling shirt simply wouldn't be the same if my name was not embroidered across the chest and a nice team logo on the back! And last, all of the Internet sites that I bought from give competitive costing on their products and unfailing shipping. Plus, since wearing a bowling shirt to school or casual events has become popular in recent years, manufacturers are going out of their way to make great new designs. This is good news for bowlers, as it means that even more places will begin to stock these items -- and in larger quantities, too. That makes it easier for me to find the cool styles that players want, and also contributes to keep prices down. I know that the kind of bowling shirt I wear has absolutely zero impact on my score, but that doesn't mean I'll just settle for any old shirt I can find at the thrift store. As silly as it sounds, I have learned that a good bowling shirt truly improves team spirit, and that actually does have an effect on our performance!
