Silver Service Limousines The 1960 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud 11 was first owned by John G. H Carroll.
Registration: JGC 000
Mr Carroll was responsible for bringing out some very famous people during the 1960s.

On 2nd of May 1951 it was Reg’d Vic UP 888
1960 vehicle was acquired by Mr Paul M.Samuels NSW
1961 then acquired by McLaughlin Motors Vic
1964 acquired by Dr David Gunter Victoria
Acquired & Restored by Keith Palmer in the late 90’s.
Bought by Always Classic Cars In 1999
Re Registered Original No Plate UP 888.

One of the 2 Preceding Park Ward Saloons their design 144
Was displayed on the Kellow Fawkener Stand at the April 1951 Melbourne Motor Show.

GYD 12 engine N9G, off test July 1934,Cooper Saloon delivered in London, Sept. 1934,
Mrs Hilda M. Kidd (nee McKay, sister of Cecil McKay owner of GYD 15), Sunshine
Victoria (Sunshine Harvester Co).
In Vic by 1936 registered Vic 58-820, re bodied as a Martin & King saloon
Mrs Kidd (married to Col George Stevenson of South Yarra, Melbourne) registered
Vic-278-237 Oct.1938. Wing Commander B.L. De Melnotte, Vic 1950, J.S. Muir,
Ringwood, Vic 1954, Mclaughlin Motors, for sale £750, 1962, Charles McI. Janes? Vic
and Gunnedah, NSW, 1975.

Later the vehicle was purchased by the Circus family Ashton and was used by the
Circus to drive the clowns around. It also had a large speaker in the front to announce
that the circus was in town.

The vehicle came from Queensland.
The vehicle was white and came with a big dent in the rear passenger guard.
This was caused by one of the elephants.
1932 Rolls Royce was nick named Tom after its owner Tom Roberts.
Registered Tom 32.
