If you have ever tried a diet, especially low calorie diets, you may be asking your self if it was really worth the time and effort. In some cases the answer would be yes, in others it would be a big no. We go on diets to lose weight; these diets may even consist of us eating half the amount of food we usually do or watching the amount of calories we take in each day. Many of us will try one of these diets and stick with it until we see results, while most of us will try the diet, not see any results in the first few weeks and give up on it. Giving up on a diet is not a good idea, unless the diet is a true waste of your time, like low calorie diets. Low calorie diets are diets in which we, on one hand, starve ourselves to see results. When on the other hand all you are trying to do is cut back on your calorie intake each day so you will look years younger when you go to your high school reunion next month. We find it hard to count calories because there are so few foods that are low in calories, and if they are low in calories they are high in fats and carbohydrates. This is not good either. Although, some people would rather take in those few extra fat grams than take in any calories. When in all reality it is not healthy either way. There are diets out there that allow you to eat almost anything and still see the results you long for. These diets ladies, are those we create. The diets women use are ones that we have been using all along. The hardest part of the diet is making sure we are only eating what we need, which means little to no snacking through the day, and exercising. Exercise is a vital part of any diet, you can't lose weight if you are being a couch potato. So get up, warm up, exercise, and begin to lose that excess weight you have wanted to get rid of for so long.
